Viewing Quicktime Virtual Reality Panoramas

Looking around in panoramic movies

Panoramic movies are those in which you, the viewer, are placed in the center of a space, and can look around that space. You do so by pressing the mouse button and dragging across the image in the direction you want to look. When a QuickTime Virtual Reality Panorama opens you'll see that it has a set of buttons along the bottom. Unlike those for standard QuickTime movies, however, these buttons are not the primary means of controlling the panorama. With QuickTime VR movies, you simply press and drag across the panorama image itself. The buttons on the VR controller supplement this basic action.

Zooming in and out

You can zoom in or out of a panorama movie. To do this, you use the two Zoom buttons (one with a "+", one with a "-").
