Washington Visits Hillendale

On January 26th and 27th George Washington (Carl Closs) visited the fourth and fifth graders here at Hillendale. The program ties directly into the "5th Grade Curriculum" on the role of George Washington in the formation of our country.

The many rules and traditions Washington established are still in place today. This program helps to bring the history alive for the students.

Our principal Tom Marinelli (left) and State Representative Chris Ross also enjoyed the program.
