The Ashland "Cycle of Life" program investigated the role that producers, consumers and decomposers play in our environment. Students identified a variety of producers, consumers, and decomposers and discussed how they interact. Students went on a "Cycle of Life" hike to discover as many examples of producers, consumers and decomposers in a marsh, forest, and meadow environments.
