Chadds Ford, PACome with a friend! Learn how to create QuickTime movies! Make Claymations! Create and print! Make your own webpage! Mrs. Hofer (technology teacher) & Mr. Claypoole will be teaching together in each class.
Students should know how to click & drag a mouse, open & close programs, handle a CD. Classes fill quickly! Choose the ones you want! Send in an application TODAY!!!
WEEK OF JULY 9 - 13
Session 1A Claymations 9:00-11:00 AM $75.00 - For students entering Gr. 4, 5, 6 in Sept. '2001. Students get to use their creativity to construct characters with clay, put the characters in a scene, use a digital camera to photograph them in sequence and create an animated movie with their photos. The moves will then be imported into HyperStudio!
Session 1B Make Your Own Webpage 11:00-1:00 PM $75.00 - For students entering Gr. 4, 5, 6 in Sept. '2001. Students will use the program, Claris HomePage to create their own webpage. Graphics will be found on the Internet. Pages will be posted on the Internet.
Session 1C MAC Attack - 1:00-3:00 PM $75.00 - For students entering Gr. 4, 5, 6 in Sept. '2001. This class provides a variety of activities on the iMAC. Get your creativity going with activities such as: Create it - make a sign. greeting card, magnet, use digital camera for graphics. Let's GO Surfin'! - fun, safe activities on the WEB. YOUR CHOICE! - choose from over 100 CDs. Get Hyper with HyperStudio. Learn new special effects with this program.
