How about a nice cup of tea? Fifth grade students in Ms. Weigand's classroom held a unique tea party in the L.G.I. last week. They presented a play entitled "Tea By the Sea" which depicted events leading up to, and following, the Boston Tea Party of 1773. Students participated in every facet of a dramatic production, from performing speaking roles and providing musical accompaniment to designing scenery and acting as stage crew. Both performances were well-attended by parents and fifth graders. One audience member exclaimed, "Wow, what a show!" Another was heard to say," The performers looked so realistic!" A third enthusiastic playgoer said, "Everyone did a great job remembering his lines!"

The production enjoyed a limited run, but the performers, their parents, and a grateful audience will enjoy 4-star memories over a nice cup of tea, or maybe for a lifetime!
