Paul O. Zelinsky, a Caldecott Medal award winning illustrator, recently visited the second grades at Chadds Ford and Hillendale Elementary Schools. He spoke to the children about the illustrations from his newest book, Knick-Knack Paddywhack!, which is a mechanical picture book. Mr. Zelinsky entertained everyone by drawing some of the illustrations that appear in his book and he gave us an insiders view into the hows and whys of the illustrations.
