On Friday,
February 11, 2005 Hillendale students had the
opportunity to experience life as a PIONEER! The
"PIONEER LIVING" assembly was a sight to behold.
First, students listened to an enjoyable
lecture-demonstration by a true pioneer. Later,
they were invited to experience pioneer life by
working and playing with the actual tools and
toys of the times. An educational and enjoyable
time was had by ALL involved. A special thanks
to Maia Walter, she did a lot of work to make
this event a success.
