Read Across America will be this Friday(3/1/02). We talked about Read Across America and what 4th and 5th grade classes would do together to celebrate reading that day. We planned to get in a group together with a 5th grade class. We can read books together and we can play charades with them. Here are a list of book titles that we might use for charades: BFG, Lord of the Rings, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Harry Potter , Redwall stories and many more. Teachers will get a bag full of book titles to use. Students can bring in a favorite book (it can be a Dr. Seuss book) and a pillow, too.
